Everytime we visit Sacramento we dance until closing at Badlands. The club is spread out over three floors. It has four bars, a patio area and a balcony that overlooks the dance floor and the outside street. The crowd was diverse and friendly. The music and videos were good. Beautiful club that makes the ones in SF look worn and dumpy.

Just the best spot in Sacramento for hanging out on a Sunday with friends, doing a little drinking, dancing, schmoozing. The barmen are good, the people friendly and cuddly.

The music is the best in town, and the energy is up, fun, and inviting. You must go here for fun

Ok...so if you are in to walking around and checking out the various "hang-out" spots in this bar then you will have fun. Go upstairs and spy down at the crowd dancing to videos underneath- what appears to be a 4' diameter mirror ball (think Madonna Confessions and you'll be in heaven. The back patio seems to be the place to be the place to be if you need a smoke or want to sit down and chat with old friends or make new ones. I'd suggest hitting up Depot first before making your way into Badlands as there are no lines for drinks and beer is on tap and available in a pitcher. Lately Sundays have been the best night to go- it's tea dance without the attitude. This is where the boys are- So if you are looking to hang with the guys, this is the bar you'll want to see. The crowd is casual and laid back and everyone is always on the move.
There are three stories to this bar- The basement hosts a huge bathroom, coat check and bar and the main level hosts dancing with the top level left for one more bar, the lounge and balconies over looking K Street and the dance floor. Check it out.
So, what do you say?
