A Sacramento Dia de los Muertos Event: Calidanza Dance Company Presents "¡Mi Mexico!" @ The Crocker Museum Courtyard Plaza THURSDAY, OCTOBER 22, 7 PM – 8 PM $12 MEMBERS ● $14 STUDENT/YOUTH ● $16 NONMEMBERS In anticipation of Dia de los Muertos and presented under the evening stars,"Mi Mexico!" is a compelling celebration of Mexican culture, dance and music. The vibrant Calidanza Dance Company comes to the Crocker Museum Courtyard Plaza on Thursday, October 22, led by the award-winning Executive/Artistic Director Steven Valencia. The 20 members of Calidanza are Sacramento's professional dance company, and for this night's centerpiece, will be restaging "Noche de Muertos," Valencia's modernistic 2013 piece commissioned by the San Francisco Symphony for their "Dia de los Muertos" concert event. With live music by the trio, Orgullo Regional, this is a premier Dia event.
