Add a reviewFirst I was denied entry as a first time guest across the street at Faces Night Club. To find out they speak to each other on a radio when someone is denied entry or kicked out. I was denied entry as a first time visitor throwing away my closed lid coffee cup at the door of another bar who provided a trash bin. They shared they have been made aware I was denied entry across the street so I can’t enter. So I asked why? As they couldn’t make sense of it as security was about to check my bag to let me in but the staff next to him said no. So somehow they tried to explain open container law in this city. I advised I had a coffee cup with a closed lid. So then they changed their statement based on perception they can lose their liquor license. I said ok. While waiting for my uber back to hotel as I was definitely torn at this point considering this a targeted attack to not let me in. I was somehow invited in when I shared I shared im a flight attendant visiting and I’m only here to support the community but I’ll just head back to my hotel since you are all in this together. I came inside and bought a drink after crying shocked this activity happens in the LGBT and furthermore in California! If of color just stay away.
Traveling from Montreal recently and went there for a drink with my bf, at the main bar, music playing with endless videos of skanky straight haired girls, bare abdos and whale tails grinding endlessly, and I was like, "Are we in a gay bar?" . So gross. Sorry, Looked like they were catering to straight man jo fantasy. Was visiting Sac after 14 year absence and feeling like i was on mars.

Great Sunday hangout. Can't beat prices and decent pours. Retro vids mixed in with some current stuff.

Visited on a Wednesday night during happy hour. In my opinion was a decent mid of men and women and bartender seemed more interested and willing to serve those she knew at the bar while I waited about 15 minutes.

Nice Sunday diversion! The cute young bar back is the hotest man in the place!
